My One Hundredth Blog Post

9 Aug 2020

I've been in a little bit of a posting rut as of late but I just logged onto my blog again and realised that I had made 99 blog posts which means that this little post right here is post number 100! I created this blog back in the summer of 2016 as a way to document my university experience but it's grown into so much more and after four years I thought it would be fun to do a little round-up of my top 10 favourite posts that I've made over that time.

I have so many posts that I love that I'm not even sure if these are my favourites but all ten of these posts hold special memories for me so without further ado, let's jump right in!

10) My Enneagram and Me (Type 9)

I'm including this one purely for the fact that it contains a multitude of sunflower photos so even if you don't bother reading the actual post you can enjoy looking at pictures of me frolicking through a sunflower field but I do also share some thoughts on my own personal development if that's your kinda thing!

9) Hepzibah: My Delight Is In Her

I spent a lot of time and prayer into developing this little playlist of songs that encourage us as women of God. I was so happy with how it turned out and I still listen to this playlist fairly often. Isaiah 62:4 is a promise that I love to speak over my life and you should too!

8) Books I Read in June 2020

This is a fairly recent one but it's really started me on a new journey with my blog as I delve deeper into the world of book blogging. I really enjoy these reading wrap up posts so I just hope I can keep my reading up enough to be able to continue them!

7) Tales of a Wannabe Travel Blogger (aged 12-13)

I discovered some old photos from some trips I'd taken when I was younger and decided it would be fun to edit them in my current editing style and hence was born this post!

6) Satisfaction in Singleness

This is one of my most popular pieces and I think it's because it's so raw and honest and I wrote it from a real place of vulnerability. I always try to be as open and honest and authentic as possible on here but it's sometimes hard to spill your deepest thoughts to strangers on the internet you know?

5) Rwanda My First Time in Africa

2018 was a big summer of travelling for me including going to Africa for the first time so this was my second travel diary of the summer and it holds very happy memories for me! This post is filled with photos, stories and lessons that I learned while I was away.

4) My Travel Diary (2010-2020)

These next two come in a pair and it's my life long travel diaries, this one is from the past ten years and details all my trips. I decided that over lockdown I wanted to find out exactly where I went on holidays and when. This one is fun because you can clearly see how my photographic eye and style has improved over the years as well as getting to travel the world with me in the process.

3) My Travel Diary (1998-2009)

Like it's sister post, this post also covers my travel history but from the first twelve years of my life. I think I prefer this one a little more just because it was so fun to look through all of our old family albums to find these pictures and relive the memories.

2) 21 Things I Learned Before Turning 21

I loved creating this post, it was so fun going through all the lessons that I'd learned in 21 years while keeping it a nice mixture between fun and lighthearted and a little serious as well. I'm 22 now and these all still hold up!

1) Adventures in Naples

This is my favourite post and probably will continue to be my favourite post for a while. I put so much work into this post and I enjoyed working on it so much. It's a full itinerary of what I got up to in Naples and it really solidified my love of travel blogging.

A big thank you to everyone who has joined me on this journey and here's to the next hundred posts!
