It's no secret that I'm a bit of a TK Maxx lover so it's no surprise that the only shop that I've been in since lockdown restrictions have been lifted, is TK Maxx. I've been shopping in TK Maxx for years and while it can be a bit hit or miss, I've found some absolute gems throughout that time so I thought I'd just share with you some of the best of the best that I've picked up at my beloved TK Maxx over the years.
Clothes
Obviously, the big draw of TK Maxx is the clothes. Sometimes you'll get some super discounted designer items or sometimes you'll just find some really cute pieces from brands you've never heard of before and I've got a little bit of both!
Levi's Jeans
I saw these and knew that I needed them in my life! Low rise straight leg fit with rips and large embroidered roses. They are the perfect pair of jeans to wear with a striped shirt and white trainers! These jeans retail at over £100 and I picked them up for £20 so a good day of TK Maxxing I would say!

Paper and Stitch Jeans
This is a brand I hadn't ever heard of but these are honestly one of my favourite pairs of jeans. They're navy blue skinny jeans with a seam all the way down the front with a slit at the ankle and a frayed edge.
This Pretty Green Dress
I was heading out to a gala dinner and I needed a new dress to wear, well I didn't NEED a new dress to wear but I wanted a new dress to wear so I took a trip to TK Maxx, literally the day of the dinner and picked up this adorable little green number. I got so many compliments and I know for a fact that I'll definitely get more wear out of it!
Shoes
The first place that I always make a B-line for in TK Maxx is the shoe section. I don't know why because it's not like I actually buy shoes from there all. that often but you never know what you might find. I was so close to buying a pair of Adidas trainers that are hands down the comfiest pair of shoes I've ever worn but I ultimately decided against it, a decision I regret every day!
Keds
This is an OLD purchase, these shoes have travelled the world and have lived in my wardrobe for who knows how long but I'm finally departing with them as they truly have come to their last legs but I'd say that this is maybe the purchase that made me fall in love with everything that TK Maxx has to offer
Ralph Lauren High Tops
These shoes RRP at £130 and I managed to snap them up for £16! What can I say I love a bargain. These are the perfect pair of shoes just so slightly snazz up your everyday casual and just make it a little fancier than if you stuck with normal white trainers
Nine West Heels
I originally bought these shoes for my school formal and since then they get pulled out for every event I go to because they are two things, classy and comfy. I'm not kidding, I wore these to a wedding once and was more comfortable dancing with them on than I was with them off! (Pictured along with green dress above)
Accessories
This is really just a fancy way of saying bags because I have 2 bags that I bought in TK Maxx and I like to alternate between them depending on what my needs are for the day
Small Dune Bag
This was the first bag I picked up in TK Maxx, it was a little being damaged so it was super reduced but it was exactly the size of bag I was looking for because my previous bag was just weighing me down by carrying so much useless crap around so I decided to downsize and this one was perfect for the job! I've especially been using this one recently so I only bring the essentials when I leave the house
Big Dune Bag
Not to be brand loyal or anything but this bag, also from Dune, I literally bought maybe a month or two after the first one. This one has a funny story behind it. I missed my train so I had an extra hour to wander around town so I thought I'd pop into TK Maxx and have a bit of a wander and lo and behold, this bag right in from of me. I picked it up and immediately fell in love just based on how nice it felt to hold! I didn't need it but I wanted it and inevitably it led to me realising that I wasn't going to have enough money to pay Rent in December (leading to
this post) but hey I got a pretty bag out of it!
Makeup
The true hidden gem of TK Maxx is the makeup section. Sometimes it can be fairly disappointing but other times if you root around enough you can find some absolute gems! A warning though, if you're buying makeup from TK Maxx make sure that the products haven't been used. With everything being on display, things can get cracked and products can be used and put back and you'll end up paying the same price for a damaged product as you would for an unused one.
Anastasia Beverly Hills Blush Trio
When I found this in my local TK Maxx I may have squealed a little this is literally one of my absolute favourite products ever and I literally don't use any other blush because this one is just perfect for any occasion. It's in the shade peachy love and consists of three peach shades ranging from pink to orange.
Anastasia Beverly Hills Lipstick
Sticking with the ABH theme I also picked up this Lipstick it's from the matte collection and it's in the shade Sedona which is a pale terracotta! I wear this one all the time!

Becca Highlight Palette
This is the Becca Ocean Jewels Highlight Palette and it was an impulse purchase which I kind of regret. Although it was cheaper than normal it was still kinda pricey however this is literally the only highlight palette that I use so I get my money's worth out of it so maybe I don't regret it that much!
Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara
I'd heard nothing but good things about this mascara but was always put off by the price tag so when I stumbled across a mini (in it's full packaging so I knew it hadn't been used) in TK Maxx I knew I had to try it. Lo and behold I loved it and almost immediately ended up purchasing a full-size one just so that when I ran out I'd have a replacement - TK Maxx, fuelling my unnecessary purchases since 2000 and something!
